Senior Odoo Developer (ERP)

About the role

Lead Odoo implementations end-to-end — custom modules, migrations, integrations and go-lives — for clients moving their operations onto a real ERP.

ERP and business automation is one of Codelabs' fastest-growing service lines, and Odoo is at the centre of it. You'll own implementations from requirements to go-live: mapping a client's actual operations into Odoo, building custom modules where the standard apps stop, migrating legacy data safely, and integrating with e-commerce platforms, payment systems and our AI tooling. You'll work directly with client stakeholders — this role is as much about understanding businesses as writing Python.

What you'll do

• Run Odoo implementations end-to-end: requirements, configuration, customisation, data migration, go-live
• Develop custom Odoo modules in Python with clean ORM usage and proper access rights
• Customise core apps: Sales, Inventory, Accounting, Manufacturing, HR, CRM
• Build integrations with e-commerce stores, payment gateways, and third-party APIs (REST/XML-RPC)
• Migrate legacy data (Excel, legacy ERPs, custom databases) with validation and rollback plans
• Train client teams and support post-go-live stabilisation

What we're looking for

• 4+ years of Odoo development across Community and Enterprise editions (v14+)
• Strong Python and PostgreSQL skills; solid grasp of the Odoo ORM, QWeb and OWL
• At least two full implementations you led or co-led, from scoping to go-live
• Functional understanding of accounting, inventory and sales workflows — not just the code
• Clear English communication for requirement workshops with non-technical stakeholders
• Based in Karachi; this is an on-site role

Nice to have

• Odoo.sh or self-hosted deployment and upgrade experience
• Odoo certification (any version)
• Experience localising for Pakistan or GCC tax/compliance requirements
