Sukoon — Privacy Policy

Effective 14 September 2026 · Applies to the Sukoon iOS app (com.codelabs.sukoon) and its widgets.

Sukoon does not collect, store, or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party services.

Location

If you choose "Use my location", the app asks iOS for your position once and uses it, on your device, to calculate prayer times and the qibla direction. To label the location with a place name (for example "Karachi"), the app asks Apple's built-in reverse-geocoding service, the same one Apple Maps uses; that request goes to Apple under Apple's privacy policy and nothing is sent to us. The coordinates and the name are saved only in the app's private storage on your phone. You can instead pick a city from a list, in which case location access is never requested.

Notifications

Adhān and namaz reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. No push service is used and nothing is sent to us.

Data stored on your device

Your dhikr counts, streak, reminder settings, chosen city or location, and a short history of delivered reminders are stored in the app's private storage and in an App Group container shared only with the Sukoon widget. Deleting the app removes all of it.

Children

The app is suitable for all ages and collects no data from anyone.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be published at this address with a new effective date.
